Tired of all the Jersey wedding venues that feel generic and pack their days with multiple events back to back? We like to call those ‘wedding factories’, and The Ryland Inn is not one of them.Continue reading
We’d like to share some of Alexis and Urian’s Eventi Hotel wedding photos. Alexis and Urian brought together friends and family to celebrate their love in New York City. The Eventi Hotel NYC is known for their modern feel. Furthermore, its new collection of contemporary art and a high-concept design marries the industrial elements with warm fabrics and rich woods. Vows are exchanged on their fifth-floor Veranda amid twinkling city lights followed by amazing cuisine (agreed) courtesy of a French-trained chef. As part of the Kimpton Hotels, you know you’re getting boutique excellence all around, much like the Remixologists.Continue reading
Having an NYC wedding can be a stressful endeavor. With a myriad of choices for venues & every vendor type imaginable, clients can literally pull their hair out trying to find the ‘right’ one. If you value having the best f*cking dance party for an NYC wedding, look no further than the DJs at Remixologists.
We helped turn Alexis and Urian’s NYC wedding into an epic dance party and we can help you too. Whether it’s Top 40, 90s/2000s hip hop, indie, soul/funk, or classic rock, our music catalog spans from the 1950s to current day hits and cult classics. And if your NYC wedding is a multi-cultural celebration such as Alexis and Urian with their Korean and Filipino heritage, we can help incorporate those traditions as well.
With the combination of DJ Taiga & our featured drummer Barbara Duncan, we tore the roof (figuratively) and kept the party going all night! Our DJ/drummer hybrid set bring the live music aspect which raises the energy to a whole new level. As you can see from the video, folks danced, laughed, shot confetti, and had a grand ole time!Continue reading
Today’s fan mail comes from Georgina & Jeffrey’s Crest Hollow wedding in Woodbury, NY. Every couple expresses themselves in their own unique way. Whether it’s a surprise performance, flash mob, serenade, etc, we help our couples bring the idea to fruition.
With Georgina & Jeffrey’s Crest Hollow wedding, they chose to sing a mashup medley of songs in lieu of their first dance (not big dancers, but their friends & family were!) Not only did I (DJ Taiga) help them curate & create the mashup they envisioned. Georgina & Jeffrey tore the house down with their performance and had their guests giving them a standing ovation that lasted quite a while. Well done guys!Continue reading
Today’s throwback fan mail comes from Tess & Brad’s Textile Museum wedding. Short, sweet, & to the point home! DJ Taiga provided the sounds from this all outdoor wedding with the ceremony in the garden, cocktail hour all around, & reception under a tent on that sunny summer afternoon.Continue reading
This beautiful Oheka Castle wedding in New York was a real treat for us. Not only were Crystal & Stephen super fun folks who I’ve (DJ Taiga) known for years (spun a lot of their undergrad parties at Penn), their family & friends came ready to party & danced the night away! It rained quite a bit that day and into the night, but it stayed dry for their outdoor ceremony & resulted in some super cool pictures.Continue reading
This thank you card for Jed & Lizzie’s Vermont wedding is awesome on so many different levels. First, look at the awesome front cover design. Everything is in 3D and was made from rolled up construction paper, super unique! And it was written by the mother of the groom who summed up the night so well.Continue reading
